PRAISING CLUB MEMBERS

Club officers are constantly looking for new and creative ways to praise club members for outstanding accomplishments. Often, the most overlooked ideas are sometimes the most effective means to recognizing service to the group. Here are seven simple ways to help instill a sense of teamwork and appreciation.

7. Create an annual "Club Member of the Year" award, which is presented on an annual basis.

6. Include a "kudos" section to your meetings, where club members can thank each other for what they have done to help each other out.

5. Buy the person a soft drink at The Huddle, and tell them how good of a job they did.

4. Write a note on an inspirational card.

3. Send flowers/balloons (Call Irish Gardens!).

2. Bring a cake to the next club meeting and praise the individual in front of his/her peers.

1. Say "Thank You, I appreciate all that you do."
